  It is located in the outside of southwest part of Shuiyun Cave. There is museum tour model.


Historical development hall of quarrying relics

  Quarrying history is dated back to Six Dynasties, kept on during Sui, Tang and Song Dynasty, and popular in Ming and Qing Dynasty, until now it still exists.


Natural Murals

  It is in the first hall with an area of 1000 square meters. The pitched roof looks like one window that connects another cave that is one hundred meters above.


Quarrying Scene

  The Quarrying scene displays Changyu’s unique quarrying technology and is divided into six procedures. They are as follows, opening the surface, quarrying test, beating the rock and cutting, breaking supporting rock and scribing, chiseling and making slabstone. Tools such as Iron solders, hammers and other tools for quarrying are displayed on exhibit. Experienced masters would teach during the quarrying process and work together with quarrying workers with uniform and loud quarrying songs. 


Stone-using Cultural Area

  The stone material Changyu people use is closely related with the history of quarrying.


Regional Background Exhibition Area

  During the transition from the splendid stone civilization to the next civilization, Zhejiang province entered a low stage until the time of the East Jin dynasty where people migrated to the north of Zhejiang province. Afterwards, it followed the dynasties of Sui, Tang and Southern Song, during these periods Zhejiang province became one of the most developed areas in China. Under its economic development, from its north to the south, quarrying became more and more popular and quarries were all over the rich places such as north Zhejiang, Ningshao, Wenzhou and Taizhou and middle Zhejiang. The stones they quarried at that time were mostly wrestling tuff, sandstone, and so on.
